Happy Anniversary to Us

Your mother (Nobuko) and I were married 32 years ago today here in Tokyo. Where did the time go. The Shinto (it was Shinto, wasn't it?, or was it a Buddhist?) ceremony was conducted three weeks later on August 14. Anyway, Happy Anniversary to Us.

Stained Glass Window of USS Powhawtan, commanded by Cdr. Perry who arrived in Japan on July 8, 1858. The stained glass was done in 1923 but destroyed during the Great Kanto Earthquake, then restored in 1927. Yokohama Kaiko Kinenkan.
