Back in the USSC (orvallis)

Just got back about an hour ago. Trip went without a hitch - the car made it ok. It is a good car so I'll be putting some work into it to make it better. Case is here with Belinda and all is right with the world - at least for a moment or two.

Welcome back. Did you get a lot done in CA? How is the grass growing? Is that plum tree flowering?

The radiator is working fine. No oil use on the trip - excellent for a 200K mile car. Once the radiator and engine system finally settled down, the car consumed no additional antifreeze either. Also, the power steering didn't leek too much - the trick is to not make sharp wheel-lock turns. That appears to be when the hydro-pressure is greatest and causes a leak somewhere. I also got at least 30 mpg during the trip, which is great for a 2.4 liter engine (2X the Justy's 1.2). I was only doing about 60 mph during the trip, but that just goes to show that slower speed really increase economy. Anyway, enough car talk.

Just noticed a typo - leek should be leak. Don't want my kids to think I can't spell.
