and in other mountain news
ian and i went to mt. mitake, in ome-city, this weekend. we stayed in a ryokan called komadori sanso at the tiptop of the mountain. here's the view from our room. it was gorgeous. i heard that we went to mitake once before when we lived at yokota. this i do not remember.

Don't feel bad, I can't remember it either, though I'm sure we went. It is all a blur to me. My hard drive is fragmented and overloaded. Sounds like a lot of fun.
you used to talk in baseball language, but now you're babbling in computer lingo.
At first, I thought you were talking about your fragmented, overloaded computer. Then I realized you were talking about your blain. I mean brain.
Anyway, that's a beautiful view. Hard to believe it's part of Tokyo-to.
