Gibran update

From Mary...
I wanted to send a slide show or at least the disc, but I don't know how to do that. iI have kodak easy share but i'm not sure how to send more than a couple of pictures at a time.

Gib is doing great and we have big doctors appointments wednesday and thursday, maybe get our trach out...... yeah.... we'll see. So since he goes to Loma Linda to the doctor we are going to Disney after the doctor tomorrow and staying over nite, then going in the morning before our appointment on Thursday, we are annual pass holders for this very reason. Got that southern california resident discount. Since we go once a month anyway to the pulmonologist. Ok so he is 43 inches tall and weighs 46 lbs. and wears a 5T; he likes Disney stuff and trucks. Although I gotta say the Furby was a big hit.

Hi and love to all...

大江戸温泉 Oedo Onsen on 9/10/06

When you enter the facility, everyone is given a choice of a colorful yukata, therefore both bathers and staff are in Japanese garb. The whole place is decked out like an old-fashioned festival, and if it weren't for dyed and styled hair, it felt like we went back in time into a Japa-Disney-Edo Village.

Stone Sauna - laying on a warm bed of rocks, happy as a clam. This one is recommended!
Doctor Fish - li'l fishies eat the dead skin off your feet. C and I were creeped out and ticklish, but afterwards our feet were smoother than a baby's bottom.

Sand Bath - If your nose itches, you have a problem, as I did, cuz I was buried under a pile of warm sand and couldn't move to scratch my nose. Not so great in the heat of summer but it would probably feel real good in winter.

The Awa-odori

The streets full of dancing people in all colors and shapes. Old and young, but everyone so lively. Lovely.

Momotaro and the demons

On the island of Megishima, aka Onigashima, lies a demon cave, the lair of the selfsame demons that Momotaro and his brave band of animals fought and conquered to bring him fame evermore.
Just a stone's throw from Takamatsu, in the Seto Inland Sea.
