Pudgee
Pudgy, our sweet little funnelcake cat passed away a few days ago. She got all messed up again the other day in a fight with something and succumbed to her injuries at home. She was a really sweet girl, even if she missed the litterbox sometimes. To her credit, she very neatly did her last poop in the litterbox. We will miss her very much. Blaine, Nobuko, and the kids know about it, but just thought that the Pudge warranted a mention on here. The Takigawa house feels empty without her.

For the Hoys who don't know, we adopted Pudgy as a companion cat for my father, when I was taking care of him. She was not a very cuddly cat in general, but for some reason, she really loved my father and always sat by him on the arm of his chair. She was obese when she joined us, but after my father passed away, she developed a thyroid condition and started losing weight, getting sick, and had at least 2 injuries. She has now gone to that other world to join him.
Ian and Selena have taken such good care of her and kept her alive and comfortable during these past couple of years. Thank you!
