That is Kev's new project car, a Nissan 200 or 240 SX or somesuch name. We now have five cars that are are worth keeping and fixing up. We will do this over the next several months as time and funds allow. I think the Stanza makes a fine long-trip car when everything is finished. First up is the struts, which is the most expensive project that I am aware that the car needs and that is too difficult for me to do. The other things are less problematic and cheaper. Another thing I need to do is fix the key problem. One locksmith states that 95% of the key problems I described are due to worn keys and the trick is to try to build a key that is the same as a new one. That is what I will try in a few days.
just jiggle it. i made a new key based on the original, and it didn't work nearly as well as the worn one. but i guess that's cuz it was based on an already worn key and not the original lock of 1992 or whichever year it was.
