L-R: Sho, me, Jung, Sota-sensei. The fellas are better, much better, at kanji than me - they come from China and Korea, respectively. But they're super nice.

I can understand why the Chinese guy would be good at kanji. But i thought Koreans didn't use kanji.
yes, they do. it's used in official documents, sometimes for newspapers, and for names... like our jung chose "hayashi" because it's the same kanji as he uses for his last name.
