how cute. looks like you all had fun.
Highlights of the trip: wariko soba(with phlegm, I mean tororo[thanks Ian I'll never eat tororo again]), 500 statues of monks, prayer tablet tunnel, Edo era candy stores, the great orange ice cream soda spill, S. walking all over town in disintegrating flip flops, free parking at the shrine guarded by possessive geezers, many assorted shops in nostalgic Edo architectural style such as kimono shops, souvenir shops, antique shops, etc. and the local favorite - sweet potato ice cream. Did I miss anything?
