She did love birds. I remember how she always put out bird feeders to attract hummingbirds and other lovlies to the yard. She used to mix up red-tinted sugar water to attract them, and also made birdseed/peanut butter concoctions for the feathered friends. I remember watching beautiful hummingbirds out the back window, delicately sipping the rosy nectar mixed especially for them by grandma.
Thanks for posting this. I like that we do this for those who have left us. I let the fam know to check it out again.
