St. Patrick's Day, 1976 was the day we adopted "Katie O'Malley," so named because she was born on or around St. Patty's Day. She was a newborn pup, abandoned in front of a bar in Yokosuka. She loved playing with cats. Here she is dancing with one. She traveled with us all over the place wherever we had to go - Japan, New York, Texas, California, North Dakota, Texas, Wyoming, Japan, then finally, Oregon where she died on Labor Day, 1995. *Note: my years may be totally off.

katie sure does look like a very fine dog. and how cute, her dancing with the cat. that is adorable.
i remember being traumatized by her fervent greetings whenever you came home. i would run into the living room and jump onto the couch, for fear of her stampeding right over me as she circled the first floor. oh katie.
I miss you, dear Katie. You were my sweetheart.
