Imperial Hotel
hi all. i was looking for an excuse to post, but nothing exciting is happening right now so yeah... i am just going to school. thought i would excite you all with a link to the temporary job i am at right now. it is through the same company i teach Isuzu for. But this one is a two week assignment at the Imperial Hotel teaching hostesses. I am teaching "service english" for parties. it's pretty interesting. http://new-service-system.com/
technically i am teaching girls that are not employed with the hotel itself, but an escort service company within the hotel called NSS. sorry for the bore... later

I think they've invented a new word - a "receptant."
they call themselves an escort service, but i think the idea is not the same as in the states. it's probably not a sex service.
I hope that the Imperial Hotel and Isuzu are not involved with anything like that. I'm sure that something is "Lost in Translation." In any event an escort in Tokyo may be simply that - someone to show you around and explain things to you.
In that think they might want to rethink the name of their service so that foreigners don't get the wrong idea. I don't think the Imperial Hotel would be hiring an escort service in the true meaning of the term.
they are sticking to the "true meaning". otherwise an "escort service" would be called a "sex-for-hire service". they probably don't realize the american connotation...
