these photos are so great. great-great grandfather was a published author, it turns out. we found some of his books in the great cleaning-out this weekend. he's the one with the wicked cool beard.
No, the background is the countryside of Matsue. By the way, Blaine, we are tentatively scheduled to have my father's one year memorial service in Matsue. It will probably be in early Spring, 2006.
